Livistonia Chinesis (Chinese Fan Palm)
The Livistonia is native to Japan and Taiwan. It is also known as the Chinese Fan Palm. It has distinctive large bright green leaves.
As an outdoor plant it is easily cared for as it can withstand temperatures of -8 Celsius. It likes good light during its growing season and also lots of water.
The Livistona is a good palm for gardeners to start with because it is easily cared for and gives reliable results.
We stock Livistona in a number of different sizes to suit growing in a conservatory or in a protected garden. It can be cut back in late Autumn and covered to protect it from frost. In Spring new leaves will grow.
