Frangipani : Aidan Prowse

This Frangipani is one of the most beautiful we sell. We are the exclusive agents for these varieties in Europe (except France).
It has medium to large flowers of deep salmon, burnt orange colour with hot pink petal tips. The foliage is very glossy and dark green.
Growing frangipanis is relatively straightforward if you follow a few rules.
-Our frangipanis will arrive as rooted cuttings (this allows them to flower much sooner).
-Frangipanis grow well in temperate climates but frosts must be avoided.
-Frangipanis like well drained soils or any good potting compost with 30% coarse sand and some mulch or manure with slow release fertiliser added.
-Frangipanis like to be fertilized during flowering and this will prolong the blooms. Well nourished plants are generally healthy plants.
